Guilty of Being With Jesus

Acts 4:13, When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
The religious establishment did not recognize Peter and John as being one of them. They did not fit in because they were too "ordinary," didn't attend the "right" school, and failed to use "code words" when speaking. The most astonishing thing was that Peter and John possessed the courage of their convictions and would not be intimidated.
The only comment the religious leaders could make, and this was certainly intended as an insult, was that Peter and John must have been with Jesus. How about that? They were accused of being influenced by the life and teachings of Christ!
Let's get to place where we can plead "guilty" to the charge of being a recognized as faithul followers of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Get on your wall today! Neutralize negative factors.

When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, "What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?" Nehemiah 4:1-2

Your enemy doesn't care when you're not making progress. It is interesting that so long as Jerusalem lay in ruins and not fulfilling the purpose for which it was established, the enemy did not care. It was only after God gave the vision to Nehemiah to rebuild and when the people strengthened their hands for a good work, that the voices of opposition began to be heard.

It is a good sign to be accused of inadequacy by forces that were more content with you doing nothing than doing something great for God.

Get on your wall today! Continue to do everything that God told you to do! Keep doing your work while the enemy complains, belittles you, and make threats against you. It will be music to your ears as you glorify God while advancing His agenda and neutralizing negative factors one by one.
