Day 2 - What Grace and Truth Looks Like | February Devotional in the Gospel of John

John 1:14, And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

It's amazing to think about the fact that some of the best works God has ever created have been given to us. God made the heavens and the earth. The earth in its original state was perfect, beautiful, resourceful, and He gave it to Adam and Eve, as well as to all humanity.

The text states that God gave us His "word," that became "flesh." Jesus, Who is the word, is the embodiment of all God's insight, plans, purposes, power, knowledge, and wisdom. John 3:34 says that Jesus has the Spirit of God without measure or without limit.

So in Christ, we are dealing with someone among us who can do absolutely anything! This is the working definition of "grace and truth" -- limitless supply and unlimited possibilities. This comes because we are supported and empowered by the best that God has to offer, His son, Jesus Christ!

Reflection question: What are some ways that you're experiencing God's best in your life?
