We all remember the "Miracle on the Hudson River" in January of 2009, in which Capt. Sully safely landed his airplane that had lost power after geese flew into the engines. His 29 years of flying, doing checklists, honing his skills, and controlling his emotions––including anxiety––allowed him to follow his pattern of training in an emergency. All the lives were saved.
