What is Your Bridge to Cross?
|Selma, Alabama | March 25, 2015|
We have benefitted from the sacrificial love and efforts of our ancestors and many people who joined in the cause of justice for our people. Don't forget that a lot of those people where white and Jewish. I felt humbled walking across the Edmund Pettus bridge while thinking about my responsibilities to my family, community, congregation, nation, and to the Lord.
I have determined to cross every bridge of challenge and higher purpose in the service of God and other people...regardless the cost.
We cannot expect to live only with benefits and carry no responsibilities.
