Lord, Teach Us to Pray, Part Two – Kingdom, Power, and Glory Forever
Luke 11:1, Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”
Matthew 6:9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Matthew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
VITAL QUESTIONS:
How do we arrive to a place where we experience God's kingdom, power and glory forever? Anything is possible in a moment, but how can something be sustained day by day, for a lifetime, and going into eternity?
1. Faith in God
2. Prayer
3. Quality decisions
4. Agreement
