Romans 6:1, Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should WALK in newness of life. 5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sinWe celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, not only because it was only a life-changing event in history.
We celebrate because Jesus’ resurrection is a empowering grace for today.
This is why we say, “Jesus IS risen,” not “Jesus HAS risen.”

John 12:12, The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘ Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ The King of Israel!”
King Jesus rides on the faith of worshippers.
How do you receive your King Jesus?
1. Obey the Lord, "Go into the village...."
2. Pay Attention to detail, "Find a colt tied... get the permission of the owner" (not just grab any donkey walking around, and there were a lot of them)
3. Operate under God‘s authority, "The Lord has need of it…"
4. Understand sacrificial giving.
A sacrifice is not: Doing something we don’t want to do.
A sacrifice is: Offering up something costly and precious.
5. Remember the blessings of God in your life: “[Rejoiced over] All the mighty works they had seen..."
6. Worship and praise God, “HOSANNA! Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord."
