“Congratulations, you have been selected as a finalist for the 2018 Inspire Awards in the Youth Mentoring category! The Inspire Awards celebrate the efforts of remarkable individuals who have inspired excellence in the workplace and the community. Thank you for all you do to embody mentoring in your everyday life – we’re excited to be able to honor you as an Inspire Awards finalist.”

I am honored to have been selected as a finalist in recognition of our work with youth with Multimedia In Focus media camp the past 19 years. We've not received recognition for our program before this week. My team and I have always been satisfied with knowing that our grassroots, community-based program, has inspired hundreds of young men and women in the media arts and in their God-given gifts! We are very thankful that Lilly Endowment and partners have helped to fund our program through their Summer Youth Program Fund.
I look forward to attending the event on February 22 at the JW Marriott, downtown Indianapolis in celebration of all the finalists who represent many people who serve our community in various ways. I also commend College Mentors for the work they do in encouraging young people and preparing them for bright future. (  #Inspire @CollegeMentors
